Entries are now open for the Yorkshire round of the 2019 University Indoor Rowing Series being hosted this year by Sheffield Hallam University Rowing Club at the Table Tennis Hall in the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

Clubs wishing to enter athletes into the national ranking for BUCS points must do so individually through the official BUCS website.

Categories Available:

  • BUCS Championship Openweight Men 2000m

  • BUCS Championship Openweight Women 2000m

  • BUCS Championship Lightweight Men 2000m (weighing 75.0kg or less are eligible)

  • BUCS Championship Lightweight Women 2000m (weighing 61.5kg or less are eligible) 

  • BUCS Championship Adaptive Men 1000m

  • BUCS Championship Adaptive Women 1000m

  • BUCS Beginner Men 1000m

  • BUCS Beginner Women 1000m

  • Men's Relay 2000m

  • Women's Relay 2000m

  • Mixed Relay​​ 2000m

    • All relay events take place over 2000m completed by a team of four athletes who each complete 500m of the distance. 

    • Mixed relay teams MUST be made up of TWO FEMALE athletes and TWO MALE athletes

    • All entry fees collected from relay events will be donated to the Danny Porter Foundation, SHHRC's chosen charity for the year. Further information about DPF can be found on our website.


Entries cost £4 per person per event.

Entries can be made by completing the entry form and emailing this to shhrc-chair@hotmail.com, each club will then be sent an invoice for the entry fees. Your entries will only be confirmed once payment has been received. 

By entering, participants are consenting to photography and imaging on the day which may be used for promotional purposes.


On the day, every student must have their student cards with them to prove eligibility, should we request it.
